MFA has delivered nearly $500 million of aid to displaced communities in and around Syria. These shipments include essential items such as food, clothing, shelter, medicines, medical supplies and equipment, hygiene kits, and water filtration systems.
Distribution & Impact
- More than $425 million worth of medicine and medical equipment
- Nearly $10 million worth of WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) support
- Over $3 million worth of non-food items
- Nearly $5 million worth of food items
These efforts have served over 2.5 million households and supported numerous hospitals, medical facilities, and refugee & internally displaced people (IDP) camps across the region.
MFA procures and distributes in-demand, high-quality medicines that are provided at no cost to patients. We are a major supplier of cancer medications as well as halal-certified prenatal vitamins (multiple micronutrient supplements) throughout Syria.

Projects
MFA has implemented healthcare and clean water projects throughout northern Syria, aiming to restore dignity, resilience, and stability to displaced communities. We have operated our primary healthcare center in Northeast Syria since 2021.

2023 Earthquakes
Hot meals, diagnostic imaging to trauma patients, and immediate mobilization of emergency supplies were provided throughout Northwest Syria
COVID-19 Pandemic
Swift and ongoing shipments of high-demand items including infrared thermometers, ventilators, hand sanitizer, soap and PPE
Emergency Displacement
1,400 tents provided shelter shelters to 7,000 people displaced by aerial bombardments in Northwest Syria
Besieged Southern Syria
Coordination of emergency cross-border support, establishing a maternity hospital and rebuilding bakery
What's Next?
Following the collapse of the Assad regime, millions of displaced Syrians are eager to return home and begin rebuilding their communities. We are evaluating how we can best support returnees in their rehabilitation efforts.
